THE DREAM STREAM

The Dream Stream

Once Upon a Dream - Like out of a fairytale, our beginnings came from a dream. While trying to come up with a name for the business - in a half awake half asleep state, 'Dream Stream' Shop was manifested. Suddenly wide awake, we took to the internet searching if it already existed. What we found out was pretty special. Right in our very own backyard is THE Dream Stream! This beautiful body of water is situated directly in the middle of Colorado (well almost, about 25 miles southwest). Renowned for trout fishing, we just enjoy the beauty of this place.

Good Things Take Time - Is what we told ourselves in 2017 when we bought the 1975 Airstream Trade Wind trailer that is now the Dream Stream Shop. It actually wasn't until September 2018 that what you see now was completed. One of our business values is patience, which ultimately came out of this whole process. We believe that if you're going to do something, you should do it right. The blueprints for our dream could not have been drawn without some very special people. In 2017, we launched a crowdfunding campaign that helped us jump start this business. Thank you to everyone that contributed to that and to everyone who has supported us along the road. As the saying goes, "it takes a villages"

Dream Big, Drive Big - Meet Big Red. We couldn't do what we do without her. Since we're on the topic of introductions, we'd also love to formally introduce Friede - what we named the Airstream. Pronounced 'Frida', she's named after Amy's grandma - Elfriede. Coming from a family of strong women, we thought it fitting to call her that.

Before After - Everyone loves a good before and after shot. Looking back at where we came from and where we are today is still surreal. The dream of renovating this trailer into a beautiful ethical shop definitely had it's ups and downs, but worth it. The nostalgia we love found in the history of the trailer is now part of our story. Being mobile fulfills our desire to travel and see new places. The 'get your hands dirty' vibe of our enterprise speaks to commitment for grassroot movements. We can't help but acknowledge the realization of our own version of success. Our dream is to empower others to do the same. This is our American Dream.
